Applications for ODESSA LIGHT FEST (3D Art videomapping contest) are open now

Starting from June, 30 applications for participation in the 3D VIDEO ART international videomapping сontest are open. This year the contestants will have an opportunity to submit their entries to 2 following nominations: 3D ART VIDEO and VJ Live Mapping. Deadlines for submission of entry applications and a contest work presentation up to July, 20.

In 2017 the 3D Art Video international videomapping contest will be held from September, 1 – 3 in the framework of the II International festival ODESSA LIGHT FEST. Ukrainian and international creative team members, students, professionals and aspiring light artists can enter the contest. The key idea of the festival is «Fairytale and Reality». Projects of finalists of the 3D Video Art Contest will be presented on the facade of the Odessa City Council building, where hundreds of thousands of spectators will see them.

Starting from June 30 those who wish to enter the competition will be able to submit entry applications to the following nominations:

–          3D Art Video (Classic & Contemporary Art VideoMapping);

–          VJ Live Mapping.

The application form should be downloaded from the relevant contest section, filled in, printed out, signed and sent along with the portfolio by JULY 20TH to the email: contest@lightfest.com.ua . Nomination and team name should be given in the email subject.

It is also needed to prepare a contest work presentation and send it until July 20st.

Deadlines for submission of entry applications:

Applications and contest work presentations are accepted UNTIL JULY 20th;

List of works accepted to the contest will be posted on the Festival Official Website by July 25th.

Entries accepted for the contest as well as winners in each nomination will be selected by the jury comprised of reputable personalities from the fields of design, lighting technologies, architecture etc. Winners of each contest nomination will be awarded with money awards, provided by the Odessa Town Council.

In 2016 prize-winning places were taken by designers from Ukraine, Belarus, and the United Arab Emirates.
